N.A.B. ROCKED people!!! Seriously! And I didn’t even get past the south hall - unfortunately - because apparently that is where I SHOULD have been schmoozing and “working it”. But instead, I got hung up on all the latest post production tenchnologies - specifically Adobe After Effects! WOW!

I danced my ass off Friday with the band Daughtry at a club called Drais - the only dance place that was open on Sunday night after hours - which by the way... what the F#@* ??? Vegas has never shut down like that EVER! (as far as I’ve seen in the last fourteen years of going there) Word on the street was the economy and tax season were greatly affecting business.

My friends from The Syndicate (post production company) let me hang out with them and gamble and eat some amazing food! My recommendation for eating an AMAZING meal in Vegas - The B & B in the Venetian. It’s Mario Batali’s restaurant (celebrity chef from the Food Network). The menu was incredibly diverse from beef cheek ravioli to fried octopus. The wine selection was amazing as was the gourmet martini I had before dinner that had pit-in olives and marinated cocktail onions! My mouth is watering just thinking of it!

The main reason I attended N.A.B. this year was to see how a video project I worked on turned out. In the above picture, you see me standing next to, well, myself! A wide screen turned on its side with me breaking down the latest hardware available from a great company - Ensemble Designs. It was awesome! A very unique presentation idea from a cutting edge company and my good friend Chris Merrick.

Well, that being said, I have to say, it was the best time I’ve ever had in Vegas. Seriously. Good times, good company, dancing (I still have blisters on my big toes), amazing weather and intelligent conversation (a special thanks to Ben and Brandon)!!!
