In a Jan. 29 story about a North Carolina company accused of copyright infringement by printer giant Lexmark International, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Static Control Components recycles used toner cartridges.

Static Control does not recycle toner cartridges, but does make computer chips that enable recycled cartridges to work in Lexmark printers.
