June 25th, 2006 (Pearblossom, CA) - Jerri recently shot with PEOPLE MAGAZINE. The shoot took place at Devil's Punchbowl, one of her favorite desert destinations for hiking and beautiful sunsets, in Pearblossom, CA. She was photographed while dancing with fire. The article will be in an upcoming People Magazine issue.

May 10th, 2006 (Hollywood, CA) - Jerri Manthey will co-star this month in Komodo vs. Cobra on the SciFi Channel. The film premieres May 23rd (Tuesday) at 9:00 pm ET on the SciFi Channel and will be released on DVD this summer (Lions Gate Home Video).

February 10th, 2006 (Hollywood, CA) - Watch for Jerri periodically as a field reporter for Fox Reality Channel�s �Reality Remix�. She recently interviewed Debra Byrd � vocal coach and music arranger of American Idol (already aired) as well as Christopher Nygeres (owner/founder School of Self-Reliance) � who taught her how to make a fire with Native American techniques (airing date in the near future). and hand percussion and performs with fire. "Deep Eddy" is a psychedelic blues musical theatre group.

September 28th, 2005 (Melbourne, FL) - Jerri's short film Widowmaker has been accepted into it's first film festival in Melbourne, Florida. She will be visiting Melbourne in November from the 9th-13th for the festival as well as making an appearance at a local Survivor themed restaurant. (see APPEARANCES for link and details)

April 16th, 2005 (Hollywood, CA) - Jerri just wrapped a short film entitled, �Widowmaker�. She played an abused woman who takes out her repressed childhood horror on married men by seducing and killing them! It will be in post production for a couple months and then will hit the festival circuit. More details to come!

February 26th, 2005 (West Hollywood, CA) - Jerri Manthey will be performing in the "Vagina Monologues" in celebration of V-Day at 8:00 pm at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater at 7:00 pm. V-Day 2005 is a grassroots global movement to end violence against women and girls. Every year around Valentine’s Day, the V-Day Worldwide Campaign commences. January 27th, 2005 (Hollywood, CA) - Jerri Manthey hasd wrapped her starring role in independent feature Komodo vs. Cobra. Jerri plays the role of "Sandra Crescent", a hard-nosed, in-your-face reporter, sent to the island of Isla Damas to break the story of a scientific lab hidden in the jungle, where government controlled DNA testing and altering is taking place. Filming was completed in Los Angeles and Hawaii and exclusive photos from the set have been posted in the PHOTOS section of this site. The rumor circulating on the set was that the Sci-Fi Network was in negotiations to pick up the project for broadcast. More information wil be provided as it is made available on this site. in related news Jerri Manthey will not be appearing in the New York production of Pieces Of Ass, as Mathey is recovering from injuries sustained during stunt work on Komodo vs. Cobra. jerri's participation in the production will be rescheduled for a future performance.

November 15th, 2004 (Hollywood, CA) - The Jay Murphy Band, in association with INTRAXX Productions and Casa Giallo(Los Angeles), have just finished shooting the video for the song "Hit Bottom". It was shot on a variety of locations in downtown Los Angeles with established director Chris Halmo and co-starred Jerri Manthey (Survivor, The Surreal Life, Playboy) as well as up and coming actor Todd Cahoon. The video will be released on December 1st at the Winspear Center and is being hosted by Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar.
